TUESDAY THIS & THAT

Good Mornin' Yall,

I do hope that everyone had a great Monday and ready to start a new day. It is currently 56 degrees and the winds are out of the East at 5mph. We've had a couple of nice days around here. Sunday the Sun shone all day and it got up to 63 degrees. Yesterday was really nice and it got up to 73 degrees. I had to turn my A/C on yesterday afternoon. This morning I have the heat back on. LOL. Clouds are going to start moving in this afternoon and we have more rain in the forecast for tonight and going thru Thursday. They say we may even have some Severe Storms on Thursday. I sure hope not. I just wish it would make up it's mind if it's going to be nice and warm or nice and chilly.

Not alot has been going on around here. Sunday after I did my post, I started getting sickly on my stomach and had to lay back down. The girls had gone to Church and when they got home, they worked on their rooms some more and let me rest. For their lunch, they fixed one of those microwavable beefaroni's and had some chips. I finally started feeling better later that afternoon and got up and fried us some Chicken Strips and French Fries for our supper on Sunday night. Yesterday, our youngest daughter was suppose to have had a softball game in Bay, so when they got in from School, we got ready and left and went to Trumann and ate at Subway. The girls love to eat at Subway as well as I do. After we finished eating, we went on down to Bay. Her game wasn't suppose to start till 7:30p.m. but she had to be there at 7:00p.m. We had about an hour to kill before being at the softball field at 7:00p.m., so I called my friend, Diane, and went by and met her. She is really a nice person and Miss Emmy was there also. Now the pictures that Diane shares on her blog just doesn't do any justice of Miss Emmy. Miss Emmy is just a precious and adorable little girl. Our youngest daughter really took to her. But we had a nice visit with Diane and her husband, Lamar, and Miss Emmy. "THANK YOU" Diane for you hospitality while we were there. It was so nice to finally meet you and I did enjoy our visit. After we left Diane's place, we went on down to the softball field. Well, when we got there, come to find out, Bay didn't have us on their schedule to play ball with them. Nope, they sure didn't. So, we didn't get to play softball after all. I was a little upset because after all, gas prices isn't cheap these days and I can't afford to be putting gas in my truck everytime. But at least I did get to meet Diane while I was there tho. So, we headed back home. After we got home, the girls said they needed some clean jeans for today, so I did a load of laundry last night. I still have another load to do today.

My DH and his Uncle made it to Salt Lake City just fine this week. He called me around 9:00p.m. last night and he was fixing to go to bed. They had just had supper and switched out in Kingman, AZ. They will be home sometime tonight to spend the night. They will have to leave out tomorrow around 11:00a.m. going to Memphis and picking up their Minnesota/Wisconsin load. They have to go to Canada in a couple of weeks, but I'm not sure what part of Canada they will be going to yet.

Well, guess that's about it for this Tuesday. I am just now having my first cup of coffee and I am going to go start my visiting. Take care my friends and have a great day. May God Bless You and Yours.

LOVE & HUGS,

Good happy Tuesday Morning to you my friend!!! I must say, I wish OUR morning temp was like YOURS...it's 74 degrees here, and it's just a bit later than 5:30 a.m.!!! It's gonna be a hot sucker today, to be sure. LOL

I tellya, I would be livid after driving to Bay and then no game scheduled?!!!! How many OTHER parents showed up you wonder. Like you said, the gas prices gouge our pocket books....that's a downright shame. Tho you did get to meet a friend. So, it made all the difference in the world.

I know Kingman AZ too. LOL [I feel like breaking into a song right now ---"I've been everywhere man, 'cross the desert....." Okay I know, I know ---off key!!! Since you begged me to quit, I will stop right there!!!]

Have a terrific day. Get that laundry done early and you have the rest of the day to yourself!!! NOT!!! There's always something, right?

Sure sorry you felt bad and hope you are feeling MUCH better now.
Yep, with the price of gas like liquid gold, we don't want to drive anywhere that we don't need to go!
Be sure to come see the 2nd day of the ROOSTER PARADE!!

Good morning Karen,
sounds like you may have overdone the hard work with your move...take it easy and rest up...with your DH working out of town so much...the girls require lots of activity...and I know it must wear you out...you are really a good mother to stay involved in all their activities the way you do...
blessings on your family,

Hi Karen, I'm sorry you were under the weather, I hope you are feeling so much better now.
Wow, with the cost of gas being so high, traveling all that way and then no game....I'd be a little upset too. One nice thing tho was meeting and visiting Diane. Continued safe traveles for all...hugs, Linda

Karen,

I hope you are feeling better. I noticed that lately you haven't been feeling well. Please take care of yourself.

Like Anni, I would have been livid had I drove all that way for no game scheduled. I am glad you got to meet Diane though. That must have really brightened your day - and Miz Emmy. She is a darling. I hope you can visit Diane again sometime.

Yes, gas is like gold here too. I think I told you the other day that it took $73 to fill hubby's van and with his work, he uses that about every other day. It makes me crazy.

Take care, Karen. I have a huge list of things to get done today. I doubt that everything will get done, but I'm hoping.

Blessings for a wonderful day.
Mary

Good afternoon, Karen. It's dark and gloomy here but so far no storms, which is fine and dandy with me. They are talking really evil about Thursday though.....

I enjoyed our visit yesterday afternoon. Maybe you can make it down this way again sometime and we can visit more. I might even think to offer you a cup of coffee next time. I'm so sorry, it didn't even occur to me to offer you a drink. I got busy feeding Emmy and it never even crossed my mind!

Y'all be careful and watch the weather for the next several days, especially Thursday.

Love and hugs,

Diane

Hi Karen,

I sure hope you are feeling much better by the time you read this.

How cool it was that you got to meet Diane. I just know the two of you had a lot to talk about. Isn't it nice to make friends online and then get to meet them in person.

Love and Prayers,

Karen-I hope you are feeling better. That's wonderful that you got to meet people you've been talking to. That's sweet that your daughter took to the little one.

The weather here's been in the 40s and 50s with some cool winds. Today it was a blustery day-rainy and windy. Every day brings us closer and closer to a bit more warmer weather. Really looking forward to that. :) in my neighborhood, the snow's all melted already. Cool. :)

I hope that the roads are better now for your DH and Uncle.

Take care and God bless you and your family. :)

When I read about you waiting for your trucker hubby to come home it reminds me of when my hubby was driving log truck. I was always so concerned for him and prayed there wouldn't be an accident.
Usually he drove during the day and was home every night though, and in your situation you have nights without him. That would be really hard I think, especially with children to care for and you not feling well I pray you are feeling much better by now and can enjoy having hubby home.

We are having some sun today but the lower mountains are still covered with snow so the wind is pretty chilly. I'm looking forward to some warmer temps!
Take care.

Sorry you felt sick on Sunday, but I'm glad you soon picked up.

Our weather is very confused at the moment, it doesn't know what to do! Snow, rain, shine. Today we've had all three, but mostly rain.

Glad you had fun on your visit. I hope your DH travels safely.

Love and hugs.
