T.G.I.F. FRIDAY!!!!

Good Friday Mornin' Yall,
I hope everyone had a great Thursday and ready to start a new day. It is currently 46 degrees with a windchill of 40 degrees. It is cloudy outside and the windds are out of the Northwest at 15mph with gusts up to 21 mph. "THANK GOD" we didnt' get any Torndado's around here in my area yesterday. We did get some rain and a little hail late yesterday afternoon and eve a couple of Thunderstorm Warnings were issued for a couple of nearby counties, but that was about it. I was glad it didn't get bad as it always makes me nervous since we don't have a storm cellar anymore. I think most of the severe weather stayed to the east and south of us. We did get put under a Wind Advisory beginning at 7:00p.m.CST last night and lasting until 5:00a.m.CST this morning. It is still on the windy side out this morning also. The high today is only suppose to be around 62 degrees and tomorrow around 70 degrees. We have another chance of storms on Sunday and then another cold front coming thru and then on Monday night the temperature dropping down to 31sdegrees. It's a good thing I haven't planted anything yet or the freeze will kill them.

Well yesterday our youngest daughter was supposed to have played softball at 6:00p.m.CST, and even her Coach had called and told us around 4:30p.m. that they were still going to play. Well our youngest daughter had Pee-Wee Cheerleading practice and tryouts yesterday at 4:30p.m. and I had to take her to that as well. While we were at that, her Coach called me on my Cell phone and told me they decided to go ahead and cancel the game since there was more rain moving in. By the way, our youngest daughter did make the Pee-Wee Cheerleading Squad. All the girls that tried out made the Squad. After her Cheerleading practice was over with, we went to the Quick Shop and got us a Sandwich for supper since I had already gotten us some cash for the Softball game. When we left there and was on the way home, the bottom fell out. It rained really hard and you could barely see in front of you and it even hailed a little bit. The hail was about the size of Peas. The hail didn't last very long and there wasn't alot of it. I was glad of that. But it did rain. We came home and stayed in and I made the girls go ahead and get their showers early just in case it got bad and the power went out. By 8:00p.m.CST, the severe weather had done moved on East of us. I think there may have been a light shower or 2 overnight, but that was about it. So tonight, I have 2 Softball games to try to be at. Our youngest daughter plays at 6:00p.m. in Monette, AR, and our oldest daughter plays at 8:00p.m.CST in Trumann, AR. I'm going to our youngest daughter's game for a little while then I will take our oldest daughter on to Trumann and watch her play. MYy Parents and Sister are coming to watch our youngest daughter play and as soon as she is done with her game, they are all going to come to Trumann and watch our oldest daughter play. I imagine both girls will be playing tomorrow as well. That is where it will get interesting to say the least. You want to be both places at once. i guess I could just cut myself down the middle and one side go to one game and the other side go to the other game. LOL. Hopeully they won't be playing at the same times tho and I can be able to make most of both games.

I did manage to do 2 loads of laundry yesterday before any bad weather came. Now I shouldn't hanve to worry about any laundry again until Sunday afternoon or maybe even Monday. Sue wish I was rich and could afford a maid. LOL. I haven't been sleeping good again this week and it's been up in the wee hours of the morning before I do go to sleep and then it's time to get up to get the girls up for School, so I'm going to have to get me a nap here after while. Hubby is on his way to Memphis, TN to pick up their load and put their truck in the shop to be fixed. Hopefully he will be home intime this evening to go to one of the girls games as well. IF not, he can go to them tomorrow.

Well that is it around here for the last couple of days. I will probably wait and post again either Sunday or Monday. I hope everyone has a great weekend. May GOD BLess you and yours.

LOVE,
Karen H.

Well, I sure do hope that sometime real soon, your sleep will be undisturbed and you'll get the rest you need!! Slow down some girlfriend...you worry me!! Ask the girls to help with the laundry...afterall, they need to learn!!! YOU, my friend need to HAVE them help you out!!!

LOL, on the maid...don't we ALL wish we were rich enough for a maid? I coulda used one while I was working outside the home...it sure would have made my weekends an actual WEEK end of relaxation. LOL

I am thankful you didn't get a tornado, or bigger destructive hail.

Have a good week-end!

Karen,

I don't know why they schedule games that overlap when there are two children from one family. Are they in two different leagues?

I would also like to have the money to hire someone to come in once or twice a week to help with cleaning. With my knees the way they are, I can't get down to do the cleaning as I'd like and hubby isn't as thorough as I would be. *sigh* Getting older isn't as much fun as they let on. LOL

Hope you get some much needed rest. Thanks for the prayers for Michelle. Please keep Brandon in your prayers as well. He isn't feeling well tonight.

Blessings,
Mary

Hi Karen,

First of all. congratulations to your younger daughter for making the Pee-Wee Cheerleading Squad! That's great!!!

I was thankful we didn't get storms yesterday, only rain, even if it was a bunch of rain. Today actually turned into a beautiful, sunny day and we got to 67! I was out enjoying that sunshine.

You sure sound busy over there. My daughter is like you, always on the go to take the girls here and there, watch their games, go to Girl Scouts, etc. She is never home. She lives in her SUV.

By the way, while we drove by the Jonesboro sign, heading to Tunica, last Friday, I waved to you. LOL.

Take it easy, and get lots of rest, and have a wonderful weekend.

Hugs and blessings,

Renie
