FRIGHTENING FRIDAY POSSIBLE

Good Morning Yall,
I do hope that everyone had a great Thursday and ready to start as new day. It is currently 55 degrees with a winchill of 51 degrees. The winds are out of the East, northeast at 9mph. We also have had some more rain overnight with some thunder, which woke me up earlier this morning, and it is still raining some outside. It is suppose to be a Rainy day with the possibility of some Severe to Tornadic Storms here later on today and tonight. I sure hope not. I think the greatest risk for Severe Weather is going to be to the South of here where I live at.

Hubby got the yard all cleaned up yesterday. He went up town here to our local Western Auto Store and bought him a new Weed Eater and then he weed eated around the house and the yard. He got one of his cousin's to come over and pick up some tree limbs that were still on the ground from January's Ice Storm and haul them off to the ditch out in front of the house, so the City will pick them up sometime next week. So now the yard looked really good adn clean yesterday evening. But now since we had more rain overnight and more on the way for later today and tonight, it will soon be grown back up again.

The girls called me yesterday afternoon to let me know they made it to Branson, Mo, safely. They got up there around 12:30p.m.CST. They went and ate lunch at the Baldnobbers' they said. They said they were going to go ride the Go-Carts and go play Put-Put Golf later on. They called me back again last night and said they did do that and they had just gotten back up to their room from swimming in the indoor pool and being in the jacuzzi. Those lucky girls getting to be in a jacuzzi. Shame on them. LOL. I'm glad they are having a good time. They also said it had been raining some up there as well last night. I hope it doesn't rain all weekend up there, so they can do some more things. They both sounded very tired when I talked to them last night. I think they were about ready to hit the hay. LOL.

After hubby got done with the yard yesterday afternoon, I had him to take me to our local Dollar General Store so I could buy some things for my flower bed. We bought alot of potting soil and i even bought some different kinds of flower bulbs to plant and some little odds and ends to sit in the flower bed when I am done with it. When I get it all fixed up, I'll take a picture of it and show everyone. If I think about it, I'll do a before and after picture. I still want to get me some Tulips to plant in there as well.

I told my hubby yesterday that I would like to go to jonesboro tonight and eat me a good Steak. I told him I would like to go to either Colton's Streakhouse or Outback. I told him I wanted to get me a Bloomin' Onion too. I've got hankering for one of those things. LOL. I guess it all depends on what the weather is doing if we go or not. If we do get to go, maybe after we finish eating, we can run by Wal-mart and I can get me some Tulips. My Parents gave me some money for my Birthday the other day. I aam really excited about getting my flower garden all fixed up so some flowers can start growing and make the front of the yard look pretty.

I would like to A"THANK" Mary of Mary's Writing Nook for the lovely Easter Friendship button that is displayed on the top right side of my blog here. "THANK YOU" so much Mary. It is lovely and I appreciate it very much. If you have never been to visit Mary, please take the time to do so when you have time. She is one of my Canadian friends and she is also a writer. She writes some very good stories.

WEll news is short this morning as nothing much has happened since i posted yesterday morning. I will be around shortly to start my visiting. If you are still asleep, I'll do my best not to wake you. Take care my friends and have a great Friday. MAY GOD Bless you and yours.

Love,
KAREN H.

Nothing like a flower garden!! I so love this time of year when the world comes alive with blossoms.

A bloomin' onion!!!! I haven't had one of those in years...they're not healthy you know. LOL

You take it easy.

Glad that your girls arrived safely.

Have a great weekend.

Sounds like a very productive day and now some good rain.

I'm glad the girls can have such fun on their break. I know you wanted to go, but it sounds like you and hubby are having a good week. Hopefully you got your steak!

The snow has stopped, but it's very cold. I have to go get the girlies so Kristen can study today - no school today either, so I'll have all 4. I know Care Bear will want to bake something.

Oh dear, I do hope you don't get the severe weather they're forecasting over there! I've just come back from running some errands and it's starting to snow...UGH! We're supposed to get about an inch and that's all we need, MORE snow instead of it melting! lol

Sounds like the girls are having a fun time in MO. What a shame you couldn't go with them but it's important for you to take care of your health. Hopefully the weather will cooperate for them this weekend.

Planning a flower garden is so much fun and I look forward to seeing pictures once you get everything planted:-) I can't even think of planting any flowers until at least the end of May and my Spring flowers won't be up until late April or early May. Such a difference in our growing seasons!!

Take good care of yourself my friend. Love ya! xoxox

Hello Karen,
I am glad you are able to get out. I hope you had a good steak and blooming onion. I hope my Hubby will take me to Out Back for our aniversery.

I am glad your girls are having fun. Hubby and I visited there a few years ago.

Here in Indiana it is still to cold to start a flower bed. I have wild flower seed to spread in a week or two.

Thanks for stopping by.

Love and Hugs,

Hi Karen,

So nice to see you are back blogging. How long have you been back, as I haven't visited much lately?

Karen,

It sounds like the girls are having a lot of fun. I'm sorry you and your hubby wasn't able to go with them.

A flower garden will be a delightful addition to your front yard. I'm looking forward to the photos.

Thanks so much for the linky love. I'm glad you liked the button. Enjoy.

Take it easy and be sure to rest when you need to. Have a great Sunday and I hope you got to go out for your steak.

Blessings,
Mary
