TUESDAY THIS & THAT

Good Mornin' Yall,

I do hope that everyone had a wonderful Monday and ready to start a new day. It is currently 39 degrees with a windchill of 33 degrees. The winds are out of the North Northeast at 8mph. Yesterday was another beautiful day. It got up to 57 degrees here yesterday afternoon, but it was once again a tad bit on the windy side yesterday afternoon and it was chilly if you had to be out in it like I was. More on that later tho. Today is suppose to be up around 60 degrees and by tomorrow or Thursday up near 70 degrees. There is also a chance for some rain on Thursday and Friday. Yall be praying that it doesn't rain this weekend so we can move. As always, you know I appreciate your prayers so very much.

Both of our girls had their Softball practice yesterday afternoon. Our youngest daughter's practice started at 3:30p.m. and went to 5:00p.m. While we were out there watching them practice, it was windy. I got cold. The bleachers were metal bleachers and when you are sitting on cold metal bleachers, I get cold. I had to get up and stand up a few times. After our youngest daughter's practice was over with, we came to the house and had regular bologna sandwiches again for supper. I had turned our A/C on yesterday around noon because it was warm here in the house. When we got home from our youngest daughter's practice, I turned the heat back on again. LOL. We had to be back at the field at 6:30p.m. for our oldest daughter's practice. We gave 2 ball fields right by each other. Our oldest daughter was suppose to practice on the big ball field. When we got there, there was High School Boys Baseball Game in progress and we all sat there for a bit. The boys were going to play 3 more innings, so the coach said we would go over to the new ball field where our youngest daughter had practiced earlier. That is where we went. By the time we got over there, it was starting to get dark and it was even getting more chilly. I nearly froze to death out there. LOL. My feet were so cold I could barely feel them. The temperature was like 50 degrees, but it was still cold out there. They finally finished their practice up around 8:15p.m. Both of our girl's Pre-Season Tournament will be March 27-29. I do know where our youngest daughter's tournament will be, but I haven't heard where our oldest daughter's tournament will be at yet. This makes it really hard on us as we both want to see the girls play. So, since my DH will be home for the weekend, one will go with one daughter and one will go with the other daughter. We will work it out tho. Try being in my shoes when it's just me here and they both have games on the same night and in different towns. What I have been doing in the past is one night go with one daughter and then the next time go with the other daughter. My Parents and Sister help out also by taking the one to their game on the night I can't go to the game. But this year, they are trying to get both teams to play on the same nights and playing right after each other. There will be a couple of games that will be like in the past, but one of our youngest daughter's coaches told me last night since gas was so high they are trying to get both games scheduled on the same night. That will make it a bit more easier and I will be able to see both games. Both of their Home Games are here in our town on Friday nights. So, my DH will be able to see them both play on Friday nights. During Softball Season, since we are on the go alot, we either eat a sandwich here at home or grab something somewhere else. Tonight we have to go up to our Fire Station at 6:00p.m for our oldest daughter's team to be sized for their uniforms. Most of them have outgrown their uniforms from last year, so most of them will have to have bigger sizes. I know our oldest daughter has outgrown her uniform from last year.

I called the Cable & Internet Company yesterday morning and told them we didn't get to move over the weekend and they will be coming out next Monday sometime to hook the Cable & Internet up over at the other house. I will try and do a post early Friday morning, but after that, I will be offline until we are hooked back up again. I'm hoping by Tuesday morning I will be all hooked up and back online. The girls will also be on Spring Break next week as well. I'm sure they will be getting their bedrooms all fixed up the way they want it while they are out on Spring Break. My Parents are suppose to take them to Jonesboro one day while they are out and buy them an Easter outfit. I told my Mom yesterday on the phone that our oldest daughter doesn't like to wear dresses and not to buy them a dress if they are not going to wear it or only wear it one time. I told her to buy them a Capri set so they can wear it after Easter as well. They usually let the girls pick out what they want, so we will see what they come home with.

I actually slept good last night. I went to sleep around 9:30p.m. and I didn't get up till my alarm went off this morning at 4:15a.m. I did wake up a couple of times during the night, but I went back to sleep. That's why my post today is a little later than I normall do my posting.

I didn't do laundry yesterday like I had planned. LOL. I talked myself out of it. I just wasn't in the mood to do laundry, but I WILL have to do it today tho. I don't know what I will fix for our supper tonight. My DH will be home sometime later on tonight to spend the night. He called me last night around 8:00p.m. while we were still at the ball field and he had done got loaded and had left North Las Vegas. He said he was going to have to put his Cell Phone on charge and would call me this morning.

I got alot of compliments yesterday about my blog being all decorated for St. Patrick's Day. "THANK YOU" all so much for the nice compliments. I really do appreciate them very much. I am getting my St. Patrick's Day Graphics from Glitter-Graphics.com. They have alot of nice and pretty things there, so if you want some St. Patrick's Day decorations, please visit that site. I really like the one I have at the top that has my name on it. You can also see that I have a Dog with my DH's name. I tried finding some with our daughter's name on it, but I couldn't find any. I just love the St. Patrick's Day decorations.

Well, guess I will go for now. I am about to finish my first cup of coffee. I think I will go and see who has coffee ready this morning. Take care my Friends and have a great day. May God Bless You and Yours.

LOVE & HUGS,

Good morning friend!!! I am glad you got some good sleep last night. Ball practice stinks lol! I am not into the out doors at all. Kirk has practice tonight. It is at six. The kids and I woke up this morning being all stopped up and coughing so I am not sure that I will even go to practice tonight. I think the night air will make them even worse. Let me tell you something strange. I went to my page today and I got a notification that MY blog site has been known for phishing. I was like oh no you didnt. Can you believe that I know it is safe and I cant believe that happened. Anyway I will go for now talk to you again soon!

Oh yes..........I hear ya!!! Cold wind, cold bleachers...cold butt! And when the butt gets cold there's no warming up, right? Yes!!

You didn't do your laundry huh? Shame on you...[just kidding] I can soooo relate to that. It's easy to say "No, tomorrow I can do it instead" Been there, done that.

I DO love the "Karen" graphic. That's darling.

Have a super great day today Karen...see you tomorrow if the creek don't rise.

Hi Karen! Thank you for showing the Glitter address for your fun graphics...great site!

Glad your girls are so into softball.but isn't it funny how our children's schedules can be so hard to keep up with! My daughter (acting in Stage Drama and competing in an Engineering Club) keeps me hopping!

We're having the same weather weirdness here in AZ...I have the car heater on when I take my DD to school, then have the A/C on when I go to pick her up!

Happy thoughts to you.

Hi, Karen! It was great to have you over yesterday! I love reading about your pets. I'm so thankful that we're not allergic, though one sister is, and she has one of my pups - nothing keeps her down! lol Speaking of laundry - I'm just now getting to my whites this morning. Running a little bit slower today - God willing I'll conquer a few things!
God bless you!

Hey Karen:-).
I can relate somewhat to the softball situation. When I use to play sports and so did my little sis, it was my responsibility to get us both to our events. My mom had to work so, she didn't attend any. Of course the one time she did attend one of my sporting events I banned her forever because of her un-sportsman like conduct *LOL*.
Have an enjoyable day with all the nice weather finally:-).

Good Afternoon, Karen. I need to do laundry myself, but so far I haven't talked myself into it. Probably after everybody leaves later I'll start the washer.

We're having grilled boneless, skinless chicken breast, mixed greens and speckled butterbeans for supper. I may fix some rice too, but I think the beans are enough starch for one meal.

I'm working on a new look for Jessica's blog, and I need to change my header and colors for Spring. I'll be working on that for the next little while.

Hope you have a good evening! ;o)

Love and hugs,

Diane

Karen,

Your weather is a lot warmer than 9ours. It was another sunny day here and so far we haven't got any of the snow they predicted. Michelle told me that they have changed the forecast. I do hope so. We don't have a place to put anymore snow.

Thanks for reminding me I need to do a couple of loads of laundry. It had actually slipped my mind.

Enjoyed my visit, as always. Good luck on your move.

Blessings,
Mary

Good afternoon Karen. I wish it would get to 70 here, but I will be happy with 50. I know what you mean about the wind. I was outside and got a chill as I was stacking wood for the wood stove. The house is warm so I am a happy camper. Tell your girls to have a good time playing soft ball. I will be going to some games this spring too. Have a great evening and will talk to you tommorow.

Love and Hugs,
Joyce

Hi Karen,
I had to laugh when I read about those cold bleachers! I just talked to my daughter a couple of days ago and she had been to Collin's scrimage game. She said, "Mom, do you realize that metal bleachers never warm up no matter how long you sit on them?"!!! Plus if they have games of any kind when the weather is warm those things get so hot they burn your butt!! LOL

I know you've been torn about not being able to go to both kid's games so it's good that they are changing that.

I sure hope you get to move this time! Maybe you won't get rained out!! All packed up yet?? :o)

Love and Hugs,
Hope

Hi, sweet friend. This has been a busy day for me so I am just now getting to visit a little.
Oh, I hope you don't have rain on Friday. I know you are so anxious to move and get settled in. I'll keep my fingers crossed and say a little prayer that it doesn't rain. We NEVER ask the good LORD to not give us rain out here in West Texas. It is so dry now, we will have water rationing in the spring and summer.
Have a wonderful evening,
hugs, bj

I, for one, just love the look of your blog, Karen, especially with all the St. Patrick's Day decorations. So cute. Green is my favotite color, and I love yellow also, so your blog looks beautiful to me.

It is great that your girls are into sports so much. I'm sure it is so much fun for them, plus it teaches them good sportsmanship.

I hope you get to move this weekend, Karen. I know you are anxious to get it over with.

Hugs,
Betty

It is such a pretty day today. I had errands to run after lunch. I went to Bible study this morning and then had lunch out with my friend. I came home took a catnap.
You must have a lot of energy to run from ball field to ball field. I remember when my son played.
I made taco salads for our dinner. My Hubby is home this week so I have to do dinner for him each night. Tomorrow night we'll go out though.

Hi Karen!
Sounds like you are staying busy. I bet you are so excited to move! That's great that your hubby gets to see the girl's softball games. I played on a softball team as a youth and I have such wonderful memories, especially when my Dad was there cheering me on.

Hugs,
Michelle :)

Hi Karen,
Your blog looks so festive :) Your weather certainly sounds changeable there.
How generous of your parents to buy the girls an Easter outfit. I remember I always looked forward to something new for Easter!

I loved seeing your cute girls and the snow pictures. Did your oldest ever eat any snow? Have a nice evening with your family. Hugs, Linda

Well, here I am, late in the day again! I just got off the phone with Steve, we'd been talking the last 2 hours! lol I didn't post this morning because I got so frustrated with Blogger not letting me upload pictures, I finally gave up! Hopefully it will be better tomorrow morning.

It's been snowing here all day...that's all we needed, more snow! lol Right now it's 26F so that's a bit warmer than what it has been. It just feels so funny for it to still be light out by 7:30 but I do love the longer days!!

It's always a busy time for us parents when our kids are involved in sports. I do hope they have a great season again this year:-) As for the cold bleachers, can you bring a blanket or cushion to sit on? That's what I use to do:-)

I was supposed to do laundry today too but didn't...hehe! Oh well, there's always tomorrow, right? lol

Love all your graphics...I've been working on a St Patrick's Day header for my blog, hopefully it will be done by the morning so that I can set it up.

Ok, bedtime for me, nite nite!! xoxo

Hi Karen,
I'm late visiting, in fact a whole day! We're really getting a battering from the wind here, but happily no damage that I can see. So your move is put off for one week now. I bet you can't wait to just get it over with now.
