Good Mornin' Yall,
I hope everyone had a great Monday and ready to start another day. It is currently 39 degrees with a windchill of 32 degrees and the winds are out of the South at 10mph. We had a nice day yesterday, but once again a bit on the cool side. I think Spring has left us around here. LOL. Today is suppose to be in the 60's and also on the windy side.
Today is my Birthday. I am 46 years old today. Nothing special is planned since I was given my Birthday party this past Saturday. Yesterday afternoon, my MIL came be before the girls got in from School and brought me the prettiest pot of artificial flowers and a little bag of 2 large candy bars for my birthday. My Mother had already given my birthday present last week. I was wanting some new rugs for my bathrooms and she got me those. Then my DH took me out Friday night and I got my hair cut. The girls gave me a card with some money in it. My DH will be home later on tonight for at least a little bit of my birthday.
Not alot has been going on around here. The girls had softball practice yesterday. Our youngest daughter had her practice right after School and our oldest daughter had hers at 6:30p.m. It was getting cold, so they didn't practice as long as they normally do. Our girls have their Pre-Season Tournaments this weekend. There has been some changes in both of their tournaments. Our youngest daughter's tournament was going to be held in Marked Tree, but they got kicked out of the league because they were trying to have a stack team. They can't have those this year, so our youngest daughter's tournament is going to be held in Harrisburg and she has her first game Friday night at 6:00p.m. Harrisburg has a couple of teams and they will be playing the Harrisburg Black Team. That is just the colors of their shirts. I think the other team has orange shirts. Our oldest daughter was to have her first game this Thursday night, but Lake City has decided to have all the games on Saturday. We have the first game on Saturday morning at 9:00a.m. We will be playing EPC, which is my hometown's softball team. A few years after I had graduated, they were consolidated with another town and became East Poinsett County. So we have another busy weekend scheduled for us. Saturday night after our oldest daughter's tournament, her coach is having a bonfire out at his house and they will be having hot dogs and also making samore's.
