MOVING FRIDAY

Good Mornin' Yall,

I do hope that everyone had a great Thursday and ready to start a new day. It is currently 50 degrees and the winds are calm. It is foggy outside as well. We did get some rain overnight but it has stopped for now. More rain is in the forecast for later tonight and in the morning. They say we may even have some Severe Thunderstorms. I sure hope not. At least I do have my new NOAA Weather Radio to let us know of anything severe.

Well folks, this is going to be my last post until probably after Monday. The Cable & Internet Company are suppose to be out sometime Monday and get us hooked back up. My neighbor's Sons and a couple of their friends helped me move quite a bit yesterday afternoon. We got all of the front room furniture moved over to the other house. We also got the washer and dryer and they even hooked them up for me. We got the table and chairs out of the kitchen and my buffet and china cabinet as well. All that is left to be done is moving the beds and the bedroom furniture and of course my computer and computer desk and dishes and the refridgerator. Then comes the fun part of unpacking everything again. LOL. Anyone want to volunteer to come and help me here? LOL. I have my work cut out for me for a while. My Mom is coming up Monday to help me get things straightened up some. The kids will be out for Spring Break next week, so they will have plenty to do in their rooms.

I think this is going to be a short post for today. That's unusual for me huh? LOL. I'm sure when I am hooked back up I will have plenty to blog about. My DH made it home around 4:00a.m. this morning and it was still raining some then. He said to let him sleep till about 10:00a.m. and he would get up and we would start moving the rest of the things. I kept the girls home from School today so they could help us as well. I slept in this morning also as I was tired from yesterday's moving. I am fixing to start me a pot of coffee. Would you care to join me? I'll try my best to get around and visit before I go offline. I will be thinking of everyone and missing yall while I'm offline. Take care my friends and have a great day/weekend. May God Bless You and Yours.

LOVE & HUGS,

Karen,
I'll be moving some this weekend, too! Sam will get the brunt of it, though, because I have to work in the morning then go take care of a dog for one of our clients. I do pet sitting on the side occasionally, so that helps bring in a little extra income. I will be cutting down on it some, though, because we'll be about 20 miles farther away and it wouldn't pay to drive into town very often unless it's a workday and I'm here anyway. I wouldn't mind doing it full time, to be honest. I love animals and I love the ones I take care of. Actually, Sam and I do this together and we do almost all cats with one exception.
I hope you'll be careful this weekend as you move. I am putting boxes together right now (well, after this break!) and next on the list is my pantry.

Have a wonderful weekend!
Leeann

I'll be right over to help:-) I wish I could!!! I'm so glad that you have been getting help to move, it's such a big job isn't it. Sounds like everything is going according to plan and that you'll be settled in your new home by Monday:-) Make sure you take lots of pictures of the inside once you have everything unpacked! I know, I'm curious that way! LOL

I didn't get a chance to visit yesterday...had to go in the city and then got busy doing other things so I wasn't at the computer much.

We had what they call "ice fog" this morning...it looked really beautiful, the trees looked like they were flocked! It then started to rain in the afternoon so that's helping get rid of some snow. Still have lots to get rid of though!!

Will be thinking of you all weekend and pray that all goes well with your moving. Hope your cable does get hooked back up on Monday:-) xoxo

Karen, I sure don't envy you having to move. That is definitely a big job and still a big job to have to unpack everything and get straightened up again.

Will look forward to you being back blogging again.

I trust your moving went well this week-end. I haven't moved in 29 years and the thought just nauseates me!! I need to at least pretend we're moving and get rid of gobs of stuff.

Well, if you'd hollered sooner, I could have planned to come help. As it is, I have most every day this week filled up already. I hope you enjoy unpacking and deciding where to put everything. Remember to take frequent breaks and drink lots of water.
See you later in the weeek.

Good luck. I'd make a tuna salad for you guys along with some sandwiches if I lived closer. Unpacking's always the hard part. Or is it the packing? Good luck and take your time.
