"HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY"!!!!

Good Morning Everyone. "HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY" to all you Mothers out there.

Soeey I haven't been blogging all that much. I seem to be Facebooking more lately. If you would like to Facebook with me, you can go to my sidebar to the right and click on that and I will be more than glad to add you as a friend to my Facebook.

It is currently 60 degrees outside and feels like 60 degrees. The winds are out of the North, northeast at 6mph. It is partly cloudy out as well. I tell you all, I think I may need to start building me an ark. In the last 2 weeks, I think we have had around 10 inches of rain here where I live at. We are way past water logged. LOL. There is still a 50% chance of showers for today and tonight. Yesterday afternoon, hubby checked our rain gages and our small one said 3 and 3/4 inches of rain and our big one said 3 inches of rain, but I think they were both wrong. We rode around town here and water was everywhere. Even some of the streets were still under water. I think we have had more than enough rain fall so far. I know when Summer starts it's going to be hot and dry and we will be wishing for some of this rain, but gee whiz, we don't need this much water all at once.

The girls haven't been able to play much softball games here the last 2 weeks because of all the rain. Even the practices have had to be cancelled. I'm hoping it will dry up soon and they can start back playing. They both have 4 games that need to be made up now.

I have been doing pretty good. On the days when the humidity is up high, I have bad days because it's hard for me to breath good and get a good breath. I have to stay inside around the Air-conditioner most of the time. Me and hubby both have a doctor's appointment this coming Friday with our regular doctors. I go back to see my Cardiologist in June as well as the Neurologist. I'm still a walking drug store too. LOL. I still take "One Day at a Time" and still do things slowly. That's all I can do I guess. I was denied my Disability. I'm going to try again and if I get denied again, hubby said we would get a lawyer. So, say a prayer that I can get my Disability started sometime this year.

Hubby got me a Motehr' Day gift Friday night. He knows that I have been wanting a Tatto for a long time and he finally took me out to eat and got me one. I got a small Rose on my left leg. I have pictures of it on my Facebook. The worse part of getting the Tattoo was the outlining of the Tatto itself. Once that was done, it wasn't that bad. It was my very first Tattoo and hubby calls it my "Forever Rose". LOL. I wanted a rose because I love the song that Bret Michaels, of Poison, sings, "Every Rose Has It's Thorn". Hubby learned to play it on his guitar and has even sang it to me. That's why I wanted a rose Tattoo.

I finally got my flower garden planted a few weeks back. My Mom came up one day and helped me with it. I also have some before and after pictures of it on my Facebook. I also have pictures of the Saturday before Easter on my Facebook as well. So, if you want to see all my pictures, I hope you will join me on Facebook to see them all.

Me and the girls are going to my Mom's today and go to Church with her. Me and my Sister are cooking dinner for her as well. My Sister is cooking a Roast with Veggies and I am making Cornbread and bringing a Vidalia Onion. My Sister is bringing some kind of dessert and my Mom is making a Diabetic dessert. I am going to take my camera and take pictures of Mother' Day and then I will upload them to my Facebook. Last month when my Parent's and Sister took the girls to Branson, MO on their Spring Break, me and my Sister went in together and got our Parents tickets to see The Baldknobbers. That was their Mother's Day and Father's Day gift from the both of us. I did buy her a long stem Red Rose to give her and a candle too. So, hopefully she will like them both.

Well, guess I will go for now. Just wanted to pop in and let you all know that I am still alive and getting along fairly good. I will get around to visit you sometime today or tonight. Take care my friends and have a great day. May GOD Bless each and everyone of you. Again, "HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY" to all the Mother's as well. May GOD Bless you on your special day.

LOVE TO ALL,

Karen H.

Happy Mother's Day Karen.
Thanks for stopping by. It's always good to see you about blogland. [I don't do Facebook]

Now, the tickets...the ones you mentioned for your parents...I've not heard of them, I'm going to have to go out to Google.

Enjoy your day, and hope your days have been blessed. Don't be a stranger. Take care.

Thanks for stopping by today - hope you're having a great Mother's Day.

I don't do Facebook, because I am deathly afraid of taking on another obsession!
