Another Rainy Monday!!!!

Good Monday Mornin' Yall, I do hope that everyone had a great Easter weekend and Easter Sunday and ready to start a new week. It is currently 53 degrees and very foggy outside this morning. The winds are calm, therefore, we have no windchill right now. It started raining here yesterday afternoon and we got some heavy rains last night and earlier this morning. More rain and possibly some Sever Thunderstorms are in the forecast again for today and tonight. April showers bring May flowers they say. LOL. I still yet have to plant my flowers and hopefully I will be able to before too long. Hopefully the threat of cold weather and frost are long gone by now. I just need it to dry up, so I can get out and work in my flower bed.
Saturdday morning, I had 2 Softball games to go to in my Hometown of Lepanto, AR. Both girls were playing. Our youngest daughter's team won their game 12 to 0. Our oldest daughter's team won their game 25 to 6. Right at the end, one of our oldest daughter's coaches was making our girls get out on purpose so they could hurry and finish the ball game since we were so far ahead. Our oldest daughter made a double play during her game. She caught the ball in the air that one girl hit and then the runner on first base left and our oldest daughter tagged her and she was out. Talk about a good play and a proud Mother, I was. After the girls games were over, I had to run my my Parents house so the girls could get their things and we came home. Hubby had done got home from picking up their load from Memphis and getting the B-Service done on their truck. He had done had the grill fired up when we got home. I had to go in and make some Potato Salad to go with our Hamburgers and Hot Dogs and Beef Smoked Sausages. While I was cooking, I did wash up some dishes as well. Later on , my Sister and my Parents got here and we ate outside under the carport. It had been windy pretty much all day, so hubby brought our table and chairs under our carport and we ate on that. It was nice and I took a bunch of pictures. I'm going to try to see if I can fix a slide show, so yall can see some of our afternoon. Sorry yall, I can't get it to work. If anyone knows a better way for me to add it, I would appreciate you letting me know. I'm not that very smart when it comes to doing things on here.

When everyone left Saturday evening, I was one tired Momma. LOL. Me and hubby both were very tired and we both were in bed before 7:30p.m.CST. LOL. I think I was asleep before my head hit the pillow. LOL. The girls stayed up and watched t.v. and got their showers and finally went to bed. I don't know what time they did go to bed, but I do remember our youngest daughter coming to bed and saying to me she was going to watch t.v. for a little bit. I woke up at 11:30p.m.CST and was awake for the rest of the night. MY legs and feet were killing me from being up on them so much on Saturday. I had my alarm set to go off at 3:00a.m.CST so hubby could get up and get ready to leave out at 5:00a.m.CST. He got up and got his shower and after he finished, I got up and got me a shower and stayed awake until 8:00a.m.CST. That is when me and the girls got up to get ready to go to Church yesterday morning. We didn't have Sunday School yesterdy morning and we came home after Church was over with and I layed back down for a while. The girls were cleaning their roomss like I had asked them to do and then they watched t.v. and got me up later on. I had to take our youngest daughter to the Dollar General Store because she needed some pencils and erasers for School this week. After we got done there, we came home and I heated up the leftover hamburgers that hubby had grilled out on Saturday afternoon. Then I washed dishes again and done some laundry. "A WOMAN'S WORK IS NEVER DONE" !!!! Always something to do and places to go.LOL. But both the girls have been really good in helping me out since I've been home. They do help me with the laundry and they take out the trash and vacuum for me and clean their rooms. I'm picky about my laundry and don't like ANYONE doing it. LOL. I do let them fold the clothes up somtimes for me tho.

Our youngest daughter is supposed to have a game here in town tonight at 8:00p.m.CST, but I do beleive it has been rained out and more rain for today and tonight. I'm having the girls go to bed a bit earlier this week because they are doing the Benchmark Tests this week in School and I want them to have plenty of rest and not be sleepy during School this week. If the game is cancelled tonight, this is going to be pretty quiet week. We do have Church on Wednesday night, but that's about it for this week.

I'm sorry I didnt' get around to visit any over the weekend but as you can tell, I have been busy, busy, busy. I will do my best to get around today. Take care my friends and have a great Monday. May GOD Bless you and yours.

LOVE,
Karen H.

First, it's totally understandable that you can't get around to visit all the time....life gets in the way. I know.

Spring is one of my favorite times of year...working in the flower beds makes a kind a peaceful existence where you feel good all the time. There's something about it that brings serenity to the soul.

We got rain on Saturday and then early Sunday morning...but oh did it get hot and muggy by midday tho!

Have a great week Karen. Thanks for stopping by, and I'm happy to hear that you like the layout for your blog.

Good morning friend. What a busy weekend. Mine was spent travelling up to stay overnight with our youngest. All of us met and we ate steak at Ponderosa. It is raining here and I can not wait for Spring to come so I can plant some floweres.

Where do you find all the templates for your blog? I want to change mine some.

Love and Hugs,
Joyce

We had a wonderful resurrection fellowship, in spite of cold and yucky weather. It has been beautiful today - I'm sure it's going to get hot any day now and spring will just jump right over us pretty much.

Good morning, dear Karen, and a Happy belated Easter:-)

Not having visited anyone all through the Easter weekend, you can imagine how behind I am! lol I didn't even post this morning, would rather get all caught up with everyone first!

It's a beautiful sunny day here again today...it's been like this for the last 5 days and supposed to last until next weekend. It's 39f right now and that's warm for us, considering it was below 0 just a couple weeks ago! lol A lot of our snow has finally melted and hopefully will be all gone by the end of this week. If it decides to snow again then I'll just have to sit down and cry! lol

Sounds like you had a lovely Easter weekend, even if quite a busy one. I had a lovely one as well, although it seemed most of my time was spent in the kitchen cooking! lol

Sending hugs across the miles. xoxox

Good afternoon Karen. I finally have my computer all to myself (well except when I share it with Harvey).

I hope you had a wonderful Easter. The sun was shining here and stayed that way up until late yesterday....now we are getting rain and dropping temperatures.

God bless.
