PHRIDAY PHAVORITE PHOTO PHUN & SHOW & TELL FRIDAY

Good Friday Morning' Yall,

I do hope that everyone had a great Valentine's Day yesterday and was able to be with your Valentine. It is currently 44 degrees with a windchill 41 of degrees. The winds are out of the West at 6 mph. Yesterday was a beautiful day. The high made it up to 51 degrees but the wind made it feel a little more chilly. I do think they have taken the Wintry precipitation out of our forecast as I had suspected all along. LOL. Now they did say we MIGHT get a wee bit, but nothing major. But who knows, things are quick to change here in Arkansas.

Guess what? I WON Mary@ http://maryswritingnook.blogspot.com/ Easter Giveaway. I sure did and I'm so excited about winning. I just couldn't believe it. If you will remember, I had posted about her Easter Giveaway a few days ago and had some pictures of the cards she had made to be given away. Now, I have to choose from so many beautiful ones and let her know so she can personalize them for me. That's going to be tough on me because her cards are so beautiful. "THANK YOU" Mary for hosting this beautiful Giveaway. I can't wait to get the cards now. I wil be sure to let yall see them when I receive them.
I would like to ask for everyone's prayers for our oldest daughter. She is still sick and wasn't able to go to School yesterday. I had checked her fever yesterday morning around 5:30a.m. and it was 101.2. So, I gave her some Ibuprofren and she went back to bed. I knew they were having their Valentine's Parties at School today, so I called out at the School around 1:15p.m. yesterday to see if I could bring her out there to the party if she didn't have any fever and they told me I could. I checked her fever again around 1:30p.m. and her fever was 101.8. I told her we wasn't going out to the School. I had her come in the kitchen so I could give her some Advil and I was giving it to her in the cup that comes with the bottle. She was holding it and then she started spilling it. I looked at her and she was leaning towards my counter by the sink. Then all of a sudden she passed out and fell to the floor. She was only out for less than a minute and I was hollering at her to see if she could hear me. I was about ready to call 911 and she woke up. You talking about being scared, this Momma was scared out of her wits. She sat up and sat in the floor for a bit and then she started throwing up some phlem. She sit there for a few minutes and I helped her up and she wanted to lay down on our couch. I helped her to the couch and covered her up. She did finally take the Advil afterwards. My Parents had dropped by a little later to bring the girls their Valentine's gifts from them. They had brought in some groceries for us and some Sprite and little cups of Jello for the girls. While they were here, she ate one of the orange-flavored jello cups. My Mom had went to the store across the road and bought me some boneless skinless chicken breasts and some egg noodles for me to make some of my Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup. Since we wasn't able to go out to the School party, our youngest daughter had brought our oldest daughter's Valentine's cards from her classmates home to her. She had gotten some candy as well, but I wouldn't let her eat it then. I told her to wait until her fever breaks and she is feeling better. I fixed the Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup and she ate some of that. Now it wasn't a huge bowl by any means, but it was enough to get in her and hopefully help her. I am planning on taking her to the doctor sometime today. She got white as a ghost yesterday right before she passed out. Anyway, I would so appreciate prayers for her.
Yall are probably thinking I'm crazy for having another Valentine's picture at the top. Well, you see, it wasn't Valentine's Day for me. My DH was out on the road, so if we are able to and depending on how our oldest daughter is feeling, we will do something tonight. Just being with my DH is Valentine's Day for me.

Yesterday after I had posted my post yesterday and was out visiting, I had received some more beautiful Valentine's Cards. I got quite a few of them. So, instead of trying to post everyone of there on here, I figured out how to do a Slideshow of them. So, below you will see a Slideshow of my other Valentine's Cards I received yesterday.

http://w260.photobucket.com/pbwidget.swf?pbwurl=http://w260.photobucket.com/albums/ii32/DOHKFH/f951187f.pbw" height="240" width="320">

I do hope that you enjoyed it. "THANK YOU" to each and everyone that gave me the beautiful Valentine's Cards. I do appreciate each and everyone of them.

Okay, as you know today is Phriday Phavorite Photo Phun hosted by Anni@ http://hootin--anni.blogspot.com/. If you would like to join in the fun, please go visit Anni and let her know. Then, post a Phun Photo to your blog.

This is a picture of me and my DH a couple of years ago. This was while we were still in our other house. He had a beard in this picture because it was in the Winter time. He only grew a beard because I had asked him to so I could see what he looked like in one. One of the girls had snapped this picture of us. I was sitting on his lap. It may not look fun to you, but anytime I am with my DH and we are joking or kidding around with each other is fun to me. We may not have the most exciting lives, but we are content with what we have and are very much in Love with each other and very Happy with each other.

Now, the moment everyone has been waiting on. LOL. Yall remember me telling what I received in the mail on Monday from my dear friend Linda@ http://somewhereintyme.blogspot.com/. She lives in Sunny California. Here is what she sent me. Are yall ready for this? LOL. Do you really want to see it? Are you sure? Okay, here goes my beautiful gifts she sent me.

No, it's not the curtains. LOL. It the beautiful Heart-Shaped Valentine Banner hanging across the top of my curtains. Each heart has the word L-O-V-E on it. At the top is a little rose. I have it hanging from one end of my curtain rod to the other end. She made it herself. Isn't it just beautiful? She did such a great job on it. Oh, that's not all, I have some more things she sent me. Are you sure you want to see them also? Okay, get ready. Here goes.

Just look at the beautiful goodies she sent me. There is a note pad that is laying down and it has a little pink heart on the outside of the package. There are 3 pencils that have hearts on them as well. There are 2 red pencils and one white pencil. I'm going to give our girls one each of the red pencils. There is also a little package that has hearts on it and it is little napkins. Standing on the napkins is a Pearl Bead Wire Letter with the letter K on it for my first name. Then, there is the beautiful card she sent me as well. "THANK YOU" so much Linda for sending me these beautiful gifts. I do appreciate each and everyone of them. My inital has a lace hanger so I can hang the letter K up on something. I got all this in time to enjoy for Valentine's Day. "THANK YOU" again so much Linda. If you have never been to visit Linda, please go by and visit her. She is such an inspiring woman and makes you feel right at home at her place. So, there you have it my friends, my Friday Show & Tell that you have been waiting all week to see. I hope I didn't torture yall too bad. LOL. Now, if you would like to participate in Show & Tell Friday, please go visit Kelli@ http://kellishouse.blogspot.com/. She is the hostess of each weeks Show & Tell Friday. I know I should have put this at the beginning, but I was all excited about showing you what I had received. "THANK YOU" Kelli for hosting Show & Tell Friday.

Well, I guess that's about it for another jam-packed Friday. LOL. I'm not sure if I will post any over the weekend. I want to spend my time with my DH and the girls also. So, if you see that I haven't posted, don't worry, I will be back on Monday. It will probably be jam-packed as well. LOL. I know yall get tired of my long post's, but I can't help it. Imagine if I only posted once a week what my post would be like. LOL.

Before I forget, today is my friend Anne@ http://mamasfamilylife.blogspot.com/ Birthday.

"HAPPY BIRHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR ANNE, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU"!!!! And many, many more. If you have never been to visit Anne, please drop by when you have a moment and wish her a "HAPPY BIRTHDAY". She is a good friend that has gone thru some hard times like I have. Things are looking better for her as well.
Well, guess I'll go for now so yall don't get bored or frustrated at me. LOL. I'm waiting for my coffee to get ready and hopefully my DH will be home shortly. Last time I talked to him was around 2:30a.m. and he was fixing to go to bed. He was close to the edge of the State of Illinois and he told me he would call me before he got into town. Take care my friends and have a great day and weekend. May God Bless Each and Everyone of You.

LOVE & HUGS,

Karen,

All of your gifties are lovely. I especially like the Valentine banner. How thoughtful of Linda to do this for you.

I'm sorry your daughter is ill. I do hope you take her to the doctor. Fainting isn't a good sign, although this flu that's going around brings weakness with it. Be sure to let us know how she is doing. I'm praying for your family.

Congratulations on winning my giveaway. I know you will enjoy the cards. As soon as you have time to let me know, I will print them and ship them out quickly so you will get them.

Take care and enjoy tonight with hubby.

Love and blessings,
Mary

I hope your daughter is better today. That's scary stuff! There are 3 different flu strains going around here. Little Feisty has been really sick today, so I have the little tiny twins fo the night, so they don't get sick. I don't expect to get much sleep! Guess I should go to bed so I can at least get a little.
