Good Wednesday Mornin' Yall,
I do hope that everyone had a great Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. I know I did and now comes the fun part of having to take everything down. We don't usually do that until after the New Year. It is a cold morning here. It is 28 degrees with a windchill of 23 degrees. The Sun is shining some, but clouds are suppose to move in and rain moving in later on as well. We didn't have a White Christmas.
Some of you may have noticed my new blog look. It is sort of under construction right now. I have been playing around trying to get it the way I want it. I think it looks good so far. I'm still learning things, but hopefully, I will have it the way I want it in a few days.
I want to let yall know that I won my first ever Giveaway last week. Yep, I sure did. I was so excited. My friend, Chrissie@AllThingsArePossible had a Giveway for an ornament. And I won!!!! "THANK YOU" so much Chrissie for hosting the Giveaway. This is what I won.

If you have never been over to visit Chrissie, please go and visit her. She lives in California and she has a really nice blog. I haven't received my ornament yet, but I'm sure it will be here before I take my tree down.

Well, hubby went back to work today. They are hauling corn again out of those big bags. I'm hoping he will get to be home the rest of the week at nights. After Friday, he will be off and will have to start January 2, 2008 on his new job. He will have to go thru the orientation process again. After that, hubby and his uncle will be assigned a truck. It sure has been good to have him home at nights for the last 6 nights. The girls sure have enjoyed it as well. They love being near their Daddy and having fun with him.

"Santa" was good to the girls this year. On Christmas Eve, my Parents, Sister, and Mother-In-Law came up for dinner. I never got around to fixing my homemade chicken and dressing. I did make my Potato Salad tho and fixed an Hore'derve tray. It consisted of baby dill pickles, olives, shrimp, and cocktail sausages. My Mother had brought me a Cheeseball, and I put the Cheeseball in the Center of it. We had some crackers to go with the Cheeseball as well. We had lots of good food to eat. After everyone left our house, around 7:30p.m., we went out to one of my Sister-In-Law's house where hubby's side of the family had gathered. We didn't eat out there, but we visited with everyone and played some games. The girls got a present out there as well. But their "BIG PRESENT" this year from "Santa" was their new Pre-Paid Cell Phone. It was the last present they opened here at our house while my Parents, Sister, and Mother-In-Law was here. I had it in a Gift Box that was already decorated. They actually thought it was some kind of clothing. You should have seen their faces when they opened up the box. You would have thought they had won the lottery. LOL. They were totally surprised. I had already had it charged and activated for them and a few numbers programmed in it for them. Needless to say, "Santa" did good this year. On Christmas Eve, me, hubby, and our youngest daughter didn't go to bed until after 2:00a.m. We slept late on Christmas Day. We had plenty of leftovers from Christmas Eve, so everyone just ate what they wanted when they wanted. Me and hubby slept most of the day off and on. I was just so tired and I guess it had caught up with me.

Well, guess I'll go for now. I do hope that yall have a great Wednesday. Take care my friends and have a great day. May God Bless You and Yours. Again, please excuse the construction. I hope to have it complete in a few days.

LOVE & HUGS,

I love your new header. Redecorating can be fun, especially when you get to put your own personal touches to it. :) I can't do that with my site unless I switch over to the layouts.

I'm glad you and your family had a great Christmas this year. I'm glad that your husband was able to stay home the last few nights. Take care and God bless.

Hi Karen,

I'm glad you had a wonderful Christmas. It's nice to know that you enjoyed the time with your family. That is the most important part of Christmas - and of course celebrating Jesus' birthday.

The new look of your blog is nice. I took all of my Christmas images off my blog last night. I didn't want to leave them until mid January.

I bet your girls were ecstatic with their new prepaid cell phones. Brandon got a digital camera for the trip and he was flying high. Jordan got an Ottawa Senators jacket he's been wanting and was delighted.

Take care, my friend. Thanks so much for your prayers and well wishes. Happy New Year to you and your family. I wish you good health, love, happiness and prosperity.

Blessings,
Mary

Karen, I love your new look, especially the heading. That is real classy looking. How did you do that? You may be still learning, but you know a lot more than I know about blogging and giving your blog site a makeover.

Sounds like you and your family had a wonderful Christmas. Don't you just love Christmas Day when you can sleep late and just lay around and rest and eat what you want when you want it. We can't ever do that on Christmas Day as we always go to my sister's, and she lives an hour away. We always gather about one for Christmas dinner. So today I had planned to sleep late, but then I couldn't sleep for thinking about all the sales out there that I might be missing. So I got up at 7:30 and hit the streets. Now I'm worn out.

Anyway, I'm glad you and your family had a good Christmas. What did you get for Christmas?

Have a good night, Karen.

Hey, Karen. I've been gone all day to Jonesboro with my sisters and hubby. We just got back a little while ago and I'll be leaving for church in a bit.

For my awards page, what I'm going to do is go back in my blog a good ways and look for a date that I didn't post, then predate a new post and put all my awards on it. After I publish it, I'll put a link in my sidebar to that blog post. You could start another blog and do it that way, but I think it'd be easier to do it the way I mentioned first. Of course you can do it which ever way you think is easier or best for you.

Like I said, I'm leaving in just bit for church, but if you need more help just email me and I'll check my email when I home.

Love and hugs,

Diane

Hi Karen!
I just love the look of your blog. Great job!
We had a wonderful visit with #2 son and saying goodbye was very hard. We've talked on the phone twice since last night and he's told me what a good time he had.
Have a great week and I'll holler at you again soon!

Your friend,
Leeann

Hi Karen, I'm back. Michelle just called and said she was on line looking up information on the china I got for her. I bought the set minus 8 coffee cups for $30. She said that for one plate it was worth $20 a piece. I am floored. I bought the set cause I liked the pattern. What a find. Well have a good night.
