TH-TH-TH-THURSDAY TH-TH-TH-THOUGHTS

Good Thursday Mornin' Yall,

I bet yall are wondering about the title to this post huh? Well, funny you should think that. It has done got cold here again this morning. Yep, old man winter came by again yesterday afternoon late. It started raining and the wind was blowing pretty good around 3:00p.m. yesterday afternoon. The wind changed directions. It was like 73 degrees when I went to get the girls from school yesterday afternoon and by the time we got home, it had done dropped down to 55 degrees. I'm really surprised there wasn't a tornado that popped out. I'm thankful it didn't tho. It sure looked like it could the way the clouds looked and was moving. I shut the air-conditioner off yesterday afternoon and then last night around 11:15p.m. I turned the heat back on. It is cold here this morning. It is 43 degrees with a windchill of 38 degrees and the wind is blowing. It's suppose to get down to 32 degrees here tonight. Gonna be a cold one that's for sure. Okay, enough on the weather. I'll move on. LOL

Well, hubby had to leave out this morning to go over the road driving. Hopefully, he will be home either tomorrow night or Saturday. It is so hard on me when he is home for a couple of weeks and then has to leave out and be gone. I get so used to seeing him everynight and him just being here. When he has to leave, there is an emptiness around here. I talk to him on the phone several times a day, but still, it's not the same as seeing him. I just love that man. He is such a great husband and father. We will be married 13 years this coming March, and we are still very much in Love with each other. The way we act around each other you would think we are newlyweds. Well, in our books, we still are. The honeymoon hasn't ended. Don't think I want it to either. Sometimes, I hear women talking about how they love it when their hubby's aren't around. Well, I just hate it when my hubby isn't around. I love being around him and having him near me. Even if we do not say very much to each other, it's just the peace of having him here and being near me.

Do any of you watch Good Morning America? I was watching it just a few minutes ago, and I tell ya, I just admire Robin Roberts so much. They were talking to her and showed a segment about her losing her hair due to her chemotherapy. So, she had it all shaved off. She said that she took control of the cancer instead of the cancer taking control of her. Now, that my friend, is a very Strong Woman.

I want to "THANK" Tammy of My Gentle Retreat for the Community Blogger Award again. She had a list of women that she gave the award too and wanted everyone of her bloggers to pay them a visit. I went and visited everyone on that list. I had some to come by and visit me here on my blog. That was such a nice thing to do. I really enjoy meeting new friends and getting aquainted with them. God Bless You Tammy. You are a wonderful friend.

Well, for supper last night I fixed some cheeseburgers and french fries. I had bought a package of Fast Fixins already made cheeseburgers Friday night when me and hubby went and bought groceries. Now, I'm not the type that usually likes those kind of cheeseburger, but hey, they were pretty good. I also fixed some already made crinkled cut fries. It wasn't too bad of a supper I don't think. Now nothing can beat hubby's burgers he fixes on the grill. They are the best. Since he won't be home tonight I may just open up a can of soup and fix some tunafish. I like to have soup and sandwiches sometimes. It will really taste good tonight since it is going to be a cold one outside.

Well, I guess I about out of words for today. LOL. That's unusual for me here. LOL. Anyway, yall take care and have a Blessed Thursday and God Bless Each and Everyone of You.

Hugs to all

I love having my husband around too! We're still very deeply in love even after forty years together.
Praying yours will be safe out on the road with the bad weather.

I love the cooler weather, but it did look a little scary yesterday afternoon when that cold front blew in, didn't it?

I'm not sure what supper will be tonight. It will be just me and hubby as usual, so I may fix bacon and eggs.

I'm going to read and comment on a few blogs then try to write a new post and maybe change my blog header for Thanksgiving.

Have a good Friday and weekend! ;o)

Love and hugs,

Diane

Hello from a fellow Arkansan!

Our weather out here is cooling down fast, too. Right now (almost noon PST) it's pleasant but the mornings are chilly.

Temp for Thanksgiving will be in the low 50's. Not quite "over the river and through the woods" weather but cold for this part of the country in November.

Take care and don't forget to eat. The times Ray's been in hospital I suddenly remember that I haven't eaten all day.

Ridiculous but if I'm not cooking for someone else, I forget to cook at all.

Hi Karen,

Thanks so much for visiting me this morning. I've been on the run all day and finally have the chance to sit a bit and visit favorite blogging friends.

It was a fairly nice day, with the sun shining, but a bit chilly, and that wind almost blew me off the road in my little Toy.

It's so sweet to read your comments about your hubby and yourself. God bless you both!

Have a lovely weekend with your family.

Blessings,

Renie

Karen,

I know how hard it is when your husband is out on the road. Thank goodness for phones that help us keep in touch.

It's chilly and damp here today. We had thick rain here today. If you don't know, thick rain is rain that has a little snow in it. :-) It was the wind that made it nasty. I don't mind it being cold, but dislike the wind. It drives the cold through you.

Take care and thanks for stopping by my blog. Of course you can add me to your blogroll. I would be honored.

Blessings,
Mary

I thought you were starting to stutter when I saw your title! hehe Hello dear Karen:-) My youngest son Corey arrived around dinner time so I fed him and had quite a nice chat with him...I hadn't seen him in 2 months so I had really missed him!! He's here until Sunday so I'll enjoy every minute with him...now he's just left to go visit his best friend for a couple of hours.

So sorry to hear your hubby will be away for a couple of days. I've been married over 31 years but Eddie and I have been separated for the last 7 years...we share the house but that's it. We're still friends and I still cook for him but other than that, we pretty much go our own way. Thank goodness I have Steve in my life, he's been my rock through some tough years.

It's turned quite cold here too and although they're forecasting a few flurries, we're not supposed to get any accumulation. Where Steve lives, 3 hours from here, they're expecting 12 inches of snow...when he called me this morning, I was laughing at him...I just know I'll pay for that! lol

You are such a delight, dear Karen, don't ever change:-) Love you! xoxo

Karen I just gotta say it is so refreshing to hear a wife speak so kindly of her husband. So many these days just tear their man down, saying what a jerk he is.
With your attitude I suspect your marriage will be one that lasts a long-long time.

It has been cold here too, but not snowing at least. Just rain and wind. I didn't even go out walking my little dogs today. Each time I looked out the window it seems that either rain was pelting them or the wind was a howling and sometimes both. I ate hot soup and worked at cleaning out my attic today.
Hope you have a great Friday and Week end. God bless you dear.

Hi, thanks for stopping by. :)

I am impressed. I really don't hear too much about a wife who really misses her husband when he's not there. You guys must really work hard to keep each other happy. That's wonderful. That must be hard when he's over the road.

Thanks for sharing. I'll put you on my blogroll when I can. :)

God bless.

Congrats on your new award hon! You sure deserve it. You are so sweet and kind to everyone and make a real effort to visit and comment on peoples blogs. Tammy choose a good woman for this...what a awful thing to happen to your hubby. So scarey. I will pray every day for his safety. You love him so and what a wonderful man he must be. God Bless him and you and your precious family Karen. Your girls are beautiful! Love, Jen xxxooo
