I hope you get some soon. We actually had a nice rain one day last week - we don't get much around here. But they're getting snow in the mountains, which is always good for our future water supplies.

Today the wind is blowing all the beautiful leaves off the trees - I'll miss them!

So sorry about your wonderful principal - so sad. I'm glad to read he was 'killed' instantly...I can't even fathom if this happened to me that I'd want to live if I had to suffer for years from that point.

We too have been dry ever since the huge flooding about a month ago...the ground is now cracking like we've been in a drought for a long time. It's just not good. It always seems to happen in extremes.

Karen...tsk, tsk, you don't know how to make 'percolated' coffee on a gas stove? Easy...Just fill the coffee tin that is inside the coffee pot..fill it with water accordingly....let it come to a boil, and percolate on lowered heat for about 10 minutes! Take out the coffee grounds, and let it simmer until all gone!!! It's the best tasting coffee around. LOL...and I'm not a coffee drinker.Hootin Annihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08811326085498312568noreply@blogger.com
